However unlike the i7+ and other top-rated robots we tested the i3+ does not have obstacle-avoidance capabilities and therefore it could get stuck on things such as socks or power cords, and may have issues traversing transitions across surfaces like from hardwood to carpet.

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin which removes major maintenance sources and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot on how to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and even vacuum a specific area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The app also makes it easy to manually steer the robot should you need to. My living room rug, for instance is darkly colored which could cause a problem for other robots. However, the HRV 425BL kept moving across the border, but it didn't register it as a cliff. The ability to create weekly cleaning schedules is a fantastic time-saving feature.
